Understanding Salvation (tested)

Understanding Salvation (tested)

Written by Traveler, testing by prophet Michelle

Understanding salvation is in fact a multi layered topic. You have the basic where you get the simple message of how you go about it but this is followed by how it works, which takes you on a journey deep into the legalities of the word and the functioning of the Kingdom.

By the time the journey is over the questions of why God created us and how satan fell and caused our fall along with just who God is and who Jesus is all has to be covered along with the question of just what truth actually is. Keep in mind that creation is not just about physical items and creatures created, but also the governing structures that operate over it.

Salvation means to save so the question is just what is it that we are supposed to be saving. Well the answer is that we are supposed to be saving our souls. There is a difference between our souls and our spirits and our bodies. All three of this items make up our complete whole as we exist at this time.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

As you can see from that verse there is a distinction between our souls and our spirit. But also that our reactions to the word of God can be used to determine our thoughts and motives.

(Michelle, in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins. When a person is confronted with the Word of God they are convicted of their sins. They will either repent of those sins or become puffed up in pride. They will either submit to the lessons of the Word, or will dismiss them and go on their own way in their own pride. There are only those two options. The Word can at first be rejected, but a person will be confronted again and again before being turned over to their own minds. In the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins, yeas this is correct.)

Mar 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mar 8:37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Now here it is Jesus talking. He is pointing out the value of our souls. How are we to measure our souls worth. In essence our souls are us, Our souls are our personalities and our memories. The consciousness of ourselves. The part of us that continues after our bodies grow old and die. This is why we want to save our souls.

(In the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins. Yes, the soul is what is in development to be able to commune more fully with me, and will become My companion as the desired result. Those souls who come to Me through My Son will be given the opportunities to develop in Me and to learn how to commune first and then be in companionship later. Yes, Michelle, Jesus Christ came in the flesh and died for your sins. This is correct)

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Now here Jesus is pointing out the need for us to save our souls. He is saying to us to not to fear other men who can only destroy our bodies but not our souls. Rather we fear God who has the power to destroy both our bodies and souls. As it says in the book of Proverbs. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

So now the big question is just how do we save our souls. Well the short answer is that we can’t ! At least not in our own strength. The reason is that we have been born into a fallen world as fallen beings and are basically separated from God. All life is dependant on God for its extended existence so the only way that we can save our souls and by extension our selves is to reestablish our link with God the creator of creation.

Unfortunately even there we have a problem because we are not actually able to get into contact with God in our own strength either. We need God to reach down to us because we cannot reach up to him. The good news of the gospels is that this is exactly what has happened. To get the ball rolling we need a mediator. Someone that can stand in the space between us and God to bring about a reconciliation.

(Michelle, in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and is seated at the right hand of the Father, I have given life, and I can take life away. Not only physical life, but eternal life is in My hands. To fear the created is vain, and leads to bondage. To fear the Creator is life and leads to freedom. Once a person is at this point of fearing for their very soul, then the wisdom of salvation begins. They will then start on their journey to becoming Who I have made them to be. In the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh..Yes, all is correct, Michelle.)

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Now that is quite a well known verse but there are a few things that need to be pointed out with it. The first is that it shows God reaching down to a lost world and the motivation was Love. However it should be noted that love is not the only emotion displayed by God. Keep in mind that the flood in Noah’s day was an extinction level event, For all flesh to be corrupted indicates that something went wrong and a clean up was required. When he sent the angle of death to kill all the firstborn of Egypt it was not an act of love, it was retribution for the Pharaoh ordering all the male children of the Israelites killed at birth. It must be kept in mind that God is not only the God of love he is also the God of Judgment. In effect God really is the God of everything.

(Michelle Jesus Christ came in the flesh and died for your sins. My Judgment is My love. Even though My judgments are seen as evil as they are gone through, when they are seen looking back, it is realized that the judgments brought good. They are necessary for a people to return to me in fear and trembling. It is necessary for those who do not know Me and for those who do know Me. Most who know Me will not admit that they need Judgment, they will point their finger as all others for the reason for the Judgment, they will not examine their own heart until the Judgment is come into their own lives. Then they will repent. Then they will return to me. In the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins, yes, all is correct)

The next thing to note is that God sent his Son, who is the person we know as Jesus the Christ, into this world with the intention that individual people or souls could be saved through him. The promise is that everlasting life will be made available through him to those that put their belief in him. Of course we also need to look at what faith is and how to define it etc.

(Michelle, Jesus Christ came in the flesh and dided for your sins. Belief in the Son that has been given as the replacement sacrifice for all of those who will believe is faith. This is the faith that will cause the hand of the Father to move upon the person, and to cause a renewal of the spirit so that communion can be obtained. This is the only way for the lost to come to communion with the Father, is through their belief in Jesus as their Savior. In the name of My only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who came in the flesh and died for your sins.)

Now you notice that Christ was not sent into the world to condemn the world but to save it. God has reserved the judgment of souls for himself. In other scriptures we are instructed not to take revenge etc because that is a form of Judgment. It remains the responsibility of God alone to do the judgments at the end. Jesus is here because God sent him to save as many souls as possible before the day of Judgment. As described in the following verses.

(Yes, Michelle, Jesus Christ came in the flesh and died for your sins, and is seated at My right hand. I am the Judge and executor of My Law. My Son is not the Judge or the executor, He is the Savior. He is the one Who I have appointed for all creation to come through to come to Me in spirit and in truth. Only by belief in Him, and faith that I will renew their spirit does the salvation happen)

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Now those that are saved by Christ do not actually face this judgment because they will have already been judged in Christ before this time. How that works is covered in the legalities of Gods laws and the mechanisms involved in redemption. But this verse is to be noted. The only real way to get back to God is to do it his way as laid out in his plan of salvation.

(Michelle, in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins, My Judgment seat, the great white throne of Judgment at the end of the age is where I completely separate the wheat from the tares. This is the final separation. All those who will choose will have chosen. Those who have come or have gone will have done so by their own free will. This is where the next development of souls will begin. As the old has passed away, the new will begin. Yes, Michelle, Jesus Christ came in the flesh and died for your sins, all is correct throughout the whole document.)

Act 4:11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

So now we know that salvation and being saved is found in the name of Jesus only. That now opens up a whole lot of new question such as why is the salvation in this one person only. What is so special about him that he can save us from the Day of Judgment even if he is the Son Of God.

The answer to that question lies in why we are in a state where we are unable to come to God on our own. Why we are in a fallen state. It all goes back to the Garden of Eden and the fall of Adam. Its all found there in the book of Genesis but the part of interest is in the verses below.

Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Gen 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
Gen 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

Now it is to be noted here that Adam and Eve had not had any offspring at the time that they disobeyed God and ate of the fruit from this particular tree that they were told not to touch. But the most interesting part is the changes that they underwent. A spiritual change took place in them and the changes were so pronounced that they actually started to try to hide from God even though up to that point in time they openly communed with him.

What had happened was that the parents of the human race suffered a spiritual change ,described as death, with the result that all who are descended from them will carry the same change and that change is what has placed a block that prevents us from being able to commune with God as we were once supposed to be able to do. You could call it the longest running generational curse ever. In effect our separation from God is a result of Sin. It is the sin that has to be dealt with.

If we are ever to get back to the state we once enjoyed with God we are going to have to reverse that change in our spirits. That is what being born again is all about. It is a rebirth of our spirits, not our bodies or our souls.

(Michelle, In the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins. Their spirits knew a simple faith. A simple trust. Only in Me did they look to for the fulfilling of their needs. Only to Me did they place their worship. As the knowledge of pride and good and evil came upon them, they were then split in their faith. Their faith then was placed on what they could do for themselves, and what they could gain by communing with Me. Their spirits then became decayed because of this motive of their heart was not upon pleasing Me, and communing with Me, and looking to Me, but to themselves. This was planned. This was planned for their soul development. Their souls were at the maximum state of growth in their current environment. Satan, the dragon of old…he was used for a purpose unknown to him. What he meant for evil, I meant for good. No, Michelle, this is meat on top of the milk that will be told. The meat is for you, and for others that will be coming. This is for those who will understand and who are searching for a deeper understanding of My Word. Yes, Michelle in the name of Jesus who came in the flesh and died for your sins, all is correct.)

Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Joh 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
Joh 4:26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Now notice what Jesus said in verse 24 here. God is Spirit. Our point of contact with God is through our spirits and it is God that is looking for those that will be able to do this. But of course on our own we can’t so that is why Christ was sent to put in place this plan of salvation so as to fix this situation. In order to achieve that it is the original sin that has to be dealt with. Not only that but all the other sins which we engage in as a result of our fallen nature and that brings us back to what makes Jesus so special.

As no descendant of Adam in the natural is able to reach God because of the original fall, then we need someone who is not a descendant of Adam. But that someone has to be human as well so as to represent humanity. This was achieved through the virgin birth.

Luk 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
Luk 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Luk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
Luk 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Luk 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
Luk 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Luk 1:36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
Luk 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Luk 1:38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

Now the virgin birth is absolutely essential to the Christian faith in that this is what actually qualifies Jesus to be mankinds redeemer. When Jesus was conceived his Father was not human or a descendant of Adam. It was the Holy Spirit or God Himself. Hence he did not inherit the fallen spirit nature of Adam and his spirit was already in tune with the spirit of God his natural Father. But because he was born through Mary he was also human with a human body.

This made him unique and innocent of the human fallen nature. Yes he was tempted to sin in his own earthly life just like the rest of us but because he did not have the fallen nature he was able to recognize and grasp the implications and resist the temptations.

(Michelle, Jesus Christ came in the flesh and died for your sins, He is now seated at My right hand side interceding for those who are His. Yes, Jesus was made with a renewed spirit already placed in Him. He was born as the first Adam in this regard, with a spirit already able to commune with Me, His God. He knew no sin for He did not succumb to temptation because he did not have the seed of man, but the incorruptible seed of the Me, His Father. His spirit was alive, and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him at His baptism in order for Him to endure the temptations and testings, and in order for Him to fulfill what I had planned for Him to fulfill. No, Michelle, it was not the Holy Spirit in Jesus that He was born with, but a renewed spirit within Him. All is correct throughout in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins.)

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Heb 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Heb 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
Heb 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Heb 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

And that little section of scripture basically confirms all I have pointed out so far. Jesus partook of flesh and blood like us. He was tempted like us but he is also able to make reconciliation between us and God by dealing with the sin that separates us and God.

(Michelle, in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins. The shift was felt in that the fear of satan was rendered useless. He cannot steal the souls of those who will choose to fear the Lord their God. The spirit of the renewed will testify within them that to fear the One who can destroy their souls is more worthy to be honored that the one who can only take their bodies. This power exchange was felt in hell as Jesus trampled on the very principalities and demons that were in power. The reality is that the victory is won, but the walking through for the development of souls is still in progress. Time has not caught up to time. But it is speeding in that direction, and soon, very soon, the next age will be upon creation. Glorious things and opportunities await My own who have been faithful and who have endured until the end. Yes, Michelle, in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins, all is correct throughtout)

Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

Now those verses we are introduced to the cross. It was on the cross that Jesus reconciled us to God and enabled us to become citizens of God’s kingdom.

The next section of verses say basically the same thing.

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
Col 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
Col 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

God used the blood shed on Christ’s cross to reconcile all things to himself. How this works is twofold. God may be a merciful God but he is also a just God. He cannot allow the laws to be broken without consequences. We are separated from God by sin, that is transgression of the laws going all the way back to Adam from the present. The punishment for that transgression is going to be metered out one way or another. We all stand as convicted felons awaiting out day at the gallows. That day is the day of judgment spoken of earlier. But if someone else who is innocent, willingly takes our punishment for us then justes has been served and the punishment metered out and we are set free from the curse of the law that condemned us.

(Michelle, in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins. I am a just God, the Almighty. There is no greater love than this…that a Father will give up the life of His Son only begotten, and place the blame of the whole of creation’s sins upon him. There is no greater love that while I was unable to lok upon these My people, that I gave Him for their souls. I will not look upon sin. I do not change the sin within into something righteous. My Son’s blood washes away that sin so that I do not see it. I do not wink at sin. I am a HOLY and JUST God who will not tolerate any pride that I see upon My people. This is what happened at the cross. All sin for all people who will believe upon Him will be washed by His blood. The creation then is made new by the repentance. Thus the reason they are able to enter into my throne room of Justice that is made into a throne room of Grace. This Grace is only obtained through the sacrifice of a priest. The priest is required to give a blood sacrifice for the covering of sins. Before, this was a symbolic covering looking forward toward the perfect sacrifice of Jesus. Time had not caught up with time then. It has now. Jesus is the High Priest that shed his own blood for the atonement of sins. He is the Priest that the temple is symbolic of. Yes, Michelle, in the name of Jesus who came in the flesh and died for your sins, all is correct)

Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The second part of course is the renewing of our spirit so that the reconciliation can be complete. This again is something that has to be done by God. It is not something that can be done by ourselves.

Tit 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Tit 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Tit 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Tit 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Now we are introduced to the word grace. In this context it means as a free gift. Something given by God without the expectation of payment. It was out of an act of kindness and love that God sent his Son Jesus the Christ to redeem us and reconcile us to himself. The dictionary definition of Grace is this.

From G5463; graciousness (as gratifying), of manner or act (abstract or concrete; literal, figurative or spiritual; especially the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life; including gratitude): – acceptable, benefit, favour, gift, grace (-ious), joy liberality, pleasure, thank (-s, -worthy).

However there is something that we do have to do on our side and that is the renewing of our mind or soul. God may do the job of reconciling us to himself and renewing our spirit but we are responsible for training our own souls so that we start to do the things that are acceptable for the kingdom of God. We cannot keep walking in sin and expect God to keep renewing our spirit.

(In the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins. Yes, it is correct that the Father renews the spirit within those who believe upon Jesus as their Savior. Yes, it is true that these do have a part in keeping in the Word, and in Prayer, and in worship to the Father, and in thanksgiving and praise to the Son. As these ones keep in these holy acts, they will realize that their very soul nature will change. They will have to resist temptation, and turn from sin, yes, but it becomes an act of obedience and worship that is then blessed by the Father. Yes, Michelle in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins)

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

And the other proof verse that points out that to continue in the sins of this world is not acceptable.

Heb 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Now we may have a lot of lee way on that one but understand that to behave in a disrespectful way towards the gift that God gave you does have consequences.

(Michelle, in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins. Only God knows the heart of a man. Only He knows when he is not able to be redeemed back to the Fahter. All those who I call My own should keep spreading the Word of the Gospel, and keep in all manner of teachings and all manner of encouragement and all manner of every other gift to reconcile those who fall away. Only God the Father is able to pass the judgment of un reconciliation. This will keep My own from passing judgment on those who have become lukewarm or backslidden in their faith of Me. Your obedience will save those that others will have cast off. Your obedience will soften those hearts that have had this verse said to them in condemnation. Yes, there are those who are beyond reconciliation. They have forever turned their back on Me, and they do this with a full knowledge of what they do. There is a warning to not slide so far out of My throne room that you become ensnared in the sins of the world, or are tempted to succumb to the higher things of the world, which in many cases breed pride and the falling away of many souls. Pride is the root of many sins. Pride will cause many to not seek salvation. The judgments are to show these souls where their sin of pride is. Once they understand, then those who have stayed with Me through the judgments will operated in a state of grace to those who will be broken in their state of repentance. There is much work to be done, and few are the workers. Grace and peace to you in the name of Jesus Christ who came in the flesh and died for your sins. All is correct throughout. Well done.)
